Why do some businesses and individuals flourish and prosper whilst others wither ,die and fail?
Its a question that seems to have been answered best at the instigation of Andrew Carnegie by a Man called Napoleon Hill who wrote the best seller "Think and Grow Rich" in the first half of the twentieth century.
Hill's book is still doing the rounds in various forms adapted to 21st Century thinking and language but the core idea remains the same.
Something that works.
The book is still on sale in he form of e-books, some entrepreneurs are selling e-copies at about $10 but you can download a copy of the entire book here for free in the spirit of free access to information.
It is also available free from several pro bonum archive centre websites such as the Gutenberg Project.
IN EVERY chapter of this book, mention has been made of the money-making
secret which has made fortunes for more than five hundred exceedingly wealthy
men whom I have carefully analyzed over a long period of years.
The secret was brought to my attention by Andrew Carnegie, more than a quarter
of a century ago. The canny, lovable old Scotsman carelessly tossed it into my
mind, when I was but a boy. Then he sat back in his chair, with a merry twinkle
in his eyes, and watched carefully to see if I had brains enough to understand the
full significance of what he had said to me.
